A girl. Her dog. And books...lots of books.

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro I really liked this book, but the style was just bothersome enough to keep it from 5 stars. It annoyed me how the narrator related the story. It was her recalling memories of her childhood but they went like "Beginning of main point of chapter, tangent A, tangent B, tangent C....and so on, Oh yes let me finish main point of chapter" I suppose that is how memories work, but it got tiresome.

Besides that I enjoyed the story. Ishiguro kept the world he created vague, and I actually liked that. He only gave part of the world he created and it left me yearning for more, even though the story felt resolved.

This was my first experience with Ishiguro's writing, and I will definitely read more.
